Wilkes County Transit is a public transportation service, serving Washington, Tignall, Rayle and rural areas of Wilkes County

Hours of Service are Monday through Thursday 7:30 am to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon

Wilkes Transit does not operate on New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day
