The main duties and functions of the Magistrate are:

  • File statements of Claim, Dispossessories, Garnishments, Foreclosures and other Civil suits under $15,000
  • Criminal arrest warrants and serach warrants (Law Enforcement Only)
  • Warrant applications and bad check warrants and county ordinance
